ELEGANT CUBA 7 Nights with Turkish Airlines

Day 1 ISTANBUL – HAVANA (26.06.2023 3.07.2023) We meet at the international departure terminal of Istanbul New Airport two and a half hours before the flight (1 day before the flight). After baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, our flight to Havana starts with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. We spend the night on the plane.  

Day 2 HAVANA After our arrival in Havana, we move to our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport and start the city tour. During our tour, we will see Havana Old Town, Malecon Boulevard, Revolution Square, Columbus Cemetery, Miramar and Morro Castle, where you can watch the city from a bird's eye view, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We have our lunch at the local restaurant. Transfer to our hotel after the tour and settling in our rooms. Accommodation at our hotel in Havana and free time. 

Day 3 HAVANA  After breakfast at the hotel, departure from the hotel for the Vinales Valley & Pinar del Rio & Indian Cave tour with lunch. We are moving to the Vinales Valley, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list and where the tobacco of world-famous Cuban cigars is grown. After our journey that will take about 3 hours, we visit the city center of Vinales, the tobacco fields, the local tobacco farm. In the continuation of our tour, we take our lunch at the restaurant in the middle of the valley. Then we will move to Pinar del Rio and get to know the cigar making and culture in the factories where Cuban cigars are officially produced. Our guests can buy original Cuban cigars here. At the end of the day, after sipping our drinks on the hill with a view over the entire Vinales Valley, we return to Havana. Transfer to our hotel after the tour and free time.  

Day 4 HAVANA  After breakfast at the hotel, departure from the hotel for the Havana Tour on the Traces of the Revolution with Lunch. We start this tour with Old American cars, which were imported from America from the end of 1958 until the Cuban revolution, were not able to be brought back to the country due to the embargo, and are still in active use today. After a short tour of the streets of Cuba with these colorful vehicles, we will see the neighborhood of Jose Fuster, also known as Cuba's Picassos, which has been transformed into an open-air exhibition through the paintings, ceramics and drawings he decorated during his lifetime. After this tour, we will see Hamel Street, the center of modern artists, named after Fernando Hamel. Then we visit the house of the legendary hero of Cuba, Che Guevara, where we can see Havana from the top. We have our lunch at the local restaurant. After the meal, we go to Prado Street, one of the most enjoyable streets of Havana. We will visit the Revolution Museum, which was used as a palace during the Batista regime and opened as a museum to the public after the revolution. In the Museum of the Revolution, which is the largest museum in Cuba, we will be able to see weapons, dishes and items from the Cuban War of Independence and the Cuban Revolution. Transfer to our hotel after the tour and free time. 

Day 5 HAVANA  After breakfast at the hotel, Ernest Hemingway Tour with Lunch. The famous writer Ernest Hemingway, who spent 20 years in Cuba, is a small Cuban fishing village 20 minutes away from Havana; We will go to the village of Cojimar, where he wrote his famous novel “The Old Fisherman and the Sea” and ate lunch. We will visit La Finca, his house on the magnificent La Vigia farm, which he owned and started living after the novel "For Whom the Bell Tolls", and his house, which is used as the Hemingway museum today. We will have our lunch at the local restaurant. Transfer to our hotel after the tour and free time.  

Day 6 HAVANA – CIENFUEGOS – TRINIDAD  After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Cienfuegos, one of the most beautiful cities in Cuba. We have our lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we visit the beautiful city of Cienfuegos, which was founded by French settlers in 1819 and was protected by UNESCO in 2005. We will see Jose Marti Park, Tomas Terry Theater surrounding the park, Colegio de San Lorenzo government offices. After visiting the city, we set out for Trinidad. After a pleasant journey, transfer to our hotel in Trinidad and free time. All inclusive accommodation at our hotel. 

Day 7 TRINIDAD – SANTA CLARA – VARADERO  After breakfast at the hotel, XVIII.-XIX. We will get to know the city of Trinidad, which has been enriched with sugar production for centuries, and which has been included in the World Heritage list by UNESCO with its Colonial period architecture examples, which Cubans are proud of today, and the best preserved in the world. While walking on the stone streets, we will feel like we are traveling to ancient times, and we will cool off by drinking Canchanchara, a mixture of lemon juice, honey and Cuban Rum unique to Trinidad. After the tour, we will set out for the city of Villa Santa Clara, the most important front of the Cuban Revolution and the legendary Che. After our lunch, on our city tour, we saw the armored train museum park, which was captured by the legendary Comandante Che Guevara, the important leaders of the revolution and carried almost all the ammunition of the Batista armies, and the Parque Vidal, where bullet marks can be seen in the old Hilton Hotel, even today, when it passed the hottest part of the war. We will feel more closely. While at the head of a small guerrilla group, we will see the Mausoleum of Che Guevera, who was wounded and executed in Bolivia on October 9, 1967, and where his body was brought and buried 30 years later, and the monument and statue of "El Che"'s famous farewell letter written in cuneiform. After our Santa Clara tour, we set off for Varadero, transfer to our hotel in Varadero and free time. All inclusive accommodation at our hotel.  

Day 8 VARADERO  After breakfast at the hotel, free time all day. If you wish, you can enjoy the sea and the sun on the magnificent beaches of Vardero or have a pleasant time in our all-inclusive hotel. Accommodation at our hotel. 

Day 9 VARADERO – HAVANA – ISTANBUL  Evacuation of the rooms after an early breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Havana airport at the time your guide will inform. After baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, our flight to Istanbul starts with Turkish Airlines scheduled flights. We spend the night on the plane.  

10. Day ISTANBUL  End of our tour and services with our arrival at Istanbul New Airport in local time.

IMPORTANT NOTES Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 20 people. If there is not enough participation for the trip, the last cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. Canceled due to lack of participation will be notified to you through your tour agency. In cases where only category information is given without specifying the name in the tour program and/or there is an option for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the tour departure. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not allowed to be visited by the local authorities on the day and time corresponding to the tour, if they are not allowed due to roads closed due to any activity or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions. For visa application, it is required to apply with a passport valid for at least 6 months from the travel end date and the documents specified in the "Required Documents for Visa" list from our agency. T.R. of our guests who will travel with a green passport, if the date of receipt of their passport is older than 10 years; They need to renew their passports. Otherwise, they may not be accepted to the country they are going to and/or their flights may not be carried out by the airline company. In such a case it is the responsibility of the passenger. There is no visa application for green passport holders, a passport valid for at least 6 months from the travel end date is sufficient.
